Gastrointestinal Oncology Center

The Gastrointestinal Oncology Center provides diagnosis and treatment for tumors affecting various organs, including the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, small intestine, colon, liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, and pancreas. Our doctors specialize in the specific treatment of each of these organs; in particular, we are among Japan’s top centers for the diagnosis and treatment of pancreas and biliary tract (gall bladder and bile ducts) tumors, and we boast a prefecture-leading track record in endoscopic treatment of early esophageal, stomach, and colon cancers, as well as in radiofrequency ablation and catheter treatment of liver cancer. Our specialist treatments include chemotherapy for cancer and drug therapy for inflammatory bowel disease, and we conduct clinical trials toward the development of new drugs beyond the standard treatments. We work day in and day out to earn the trust of patients and their families, through medical care that provides peace of mind.
