Providing Proper Information through Close, Thoughtful Consultations

We have established the Cancer Consultation and Support Center to help provide close consultations about cancer, for cancer patients, their families, and medical institutions in the region.
Patients can have consultations with a full-time nurse (certified palliative care nurse), medical social worker, or cancer counselor, who will listen carefully to what the patient has to say, and provide proper information to help the patient with their concerns, as well as to assist with the physical, psychological, and financial burdens of cancer treatment.
We also provide second opinion consultations, so that patients can feel satisfied with their medical care.
At the Hohoemi Salon (cancer patient salon), we hold regular tea parties and mini lectures, to help reduce the mental burden on patients and improve their quality of life, by providing a chance to meet up with one another and talk about the challenges they have been facing.
We also make use of the Cancer Regional Clinical Alliance Path, as a Designated Cancer Care Hospital, as part of our efforts to collaborate with local medical institutions.
