Introduction to the Mechanism and Equipment Used in Oncothermia Therapy

This diagram shows a general overview of how oncothermia therapy works. Probes (large and small) are applied to the site of the tumor from outside the body.
Therapy sessions each take one hour, with one to three sessions per week. A single course of treatment is usually eight sessions.
